A KILGARVAN man who was found driving without insurance was warned that if he is caught again he will get a disqualification for four years.

John Joe Reilly of Main Street, Kilgarvan was stopped by Garda Sean Twomey at Gortagass, Kenmare on November 8, 2017.

The car was seized as there was no insurace on the vehicle. Defence solicitor Padraig O’Connell said that his client was not insured on that particular vehicle but was insured on his partner’s one.

“There was a slight contradiction,” he said adding that this was a “once-off ’. Judge David Waters convicted and fined him €250 but did not disqualify him from driving.
