UNDERAGE soccer is thriving in Ballyduff and after their great exploits last season Rattoo Rovers began the new season in rampant form on Saturday recording a thumping win over a fancied Park side.

Barry O’Neill (2), Mikey Kelliher (2), Kevin Goulding (2), Dillon Moriarty and Darragh Quinlan scored for the winners.

THE local derby was a very tight affair and after an exciting game the sides had to settle for a point each after the game ended in stalemate.

Paudie Murphy (2) and Darragh Riordan scored for Mastergeeha while their man of the match was Daniel Herlihy.

Damian Switzer (2) and Matt Fleming got the Athletic goals.
