THIS game seemed to be heading for a draw entering the final 6 minutes with the sides deadlocked at 1-1 but two late goals by Strand Road gave them the three league points. Strand Road are a transformed side this season as they have acquired a good few new signings and appear to be the side to beat in this division.

New signings Padraig McCarthy and JJ Prior scored for the winners and their other goal was an own goal. Liam McElligott was the Asdee scorer from the penalty spot.

Classic FC B 0 Killarney Athletic B 3

A FORMIDABLE Athletic side were too strong for newly promoted Classic FC. Chris O’Meara, William Courtney and Darren Mulcahy scored for the winners.

Inter Kenmare 4 St Brendan’s Park 2

THIS was a clash of the two heavyweights in this division and Inter Kenmare took the spoils against a young Park side. Josh Crowley Holland (2), Dara O’Siochru and Tadhg O’Siochru scored for the winners. Mikey Burke and Aaron Ward scored for The Park.
