ST. BRENDAN’S ATHLETIC CLUB

Club juvenile training for the new cross country season begins on this Wednesday from 6.30pm to 7.30pm in An Fearann, behind Ardfert Medical Centre. All ages from 7 to 19 will be catered for and the cost is 2 euro and athletes should bring their own bottle of water. Training will continue on Saturday mornings from 11am to 12 noon in An Fearann. Parents are asked to assist at the training.

The first cross country competition of the year will be the primary schools event on Wednesday, Sep 19th in An Fearann, for the St Brendan’s AC area.

Last weekend, St Brendan’s AC had a host of athletes involved in a variety of venues. The Dingle half marathon and marathon had Denis Foley, Cathy Flynn, Artur and Kirsti Nowak, David and Irene Butler and Pat Sheehy competing while a number of athletes ran in An Ríocht 5k on Friday evening and in the Tralee parkruns on Saturday and Sunday.
