CASHEN VALE BOXING CLUB
An unexpected high turnout of enthusiastic participants attended the launch of our Healthy Boxing Bodies at the Irish Collage last Friday night. Following a discussion with those present and others about more suitable times to attend, it was agreed to bring it forward to Tuesday evenings at the earlier time of 6pm. The Cashen Vale Boxing Club is delighted to be offered the opportunity to be involved in the Healthy Boxing Bodies project, and to carry out the 8-week fun-based boxing sessions for the over 50s age group here in Ballybunion, and they are totally FREE. This is a low impact mobility class with varying levels of intensity to suit all levels. This program has the backing of the HSE and the class is run by fully certified instructors. Ring Patrick on 089-2212577 for full details.
Team Cashen Vale will be bringing a squad of boxers to Birmingham as guests of the Pat Benson Boxing Academy for a tournament in the Irish Centre on the 5th of October next: Each boxer is presently seeking sponsorships towards the cost of their trip, and your generous contribution would enable them to share in this wonderful opportunity to compete overseas. Thank you in advance for your consideration and support.
