GAA LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn at last Sunday’s GAA LOTTO. 3-12-21-25. The Jackpot of €9,250 was not won. Next week’s Jackpot will be €9,300. The two €50 winners were Tara Quinlan, Church Road and Eileen O’Keeffe/Corridan, Keel, Ballyheigue. The €25 winner was Frank King, C/o Mary Casey. BALLYHEIGUE U-15: Travelled to Hermitage Park, Lixnaw on Tuesday evening to face Ballyduff in the North Kerry U15 Hurling Championship Final (Johnny Hussey Memorial Shield). On a perfect evening for hurling, Ballyheigue struck first with a beautiful strike from a narrow angle by Captain David O’Mahony. This was followed in the 9th & 10th minutes by a well-worked goal from Félim O’Sullivan and a point from Jordan Goggin. However, by the 17th minute Ballyduff had reduced the margin to the bare minimum with two points from play and two frees. A Tomás Gaynor free and a David O’Mahony strike from play put a goal between the sides. A point from play by Ballyduff and a 65" from David left the halftime score at Ballyheigue 1-5 Ballyduff 0-5.
