THE Park met Desmond League opposition and recorded a facile win against a weak Limerick side. Twin brothers Aaron and Adam Ward stole the limelight with Aaron netting four goals while Adam bagged a brace.

Padraig McCannon (2), and Tommy Moriarty completed the scoring for the Tralee side.

Kildysart FC (Clare) 0 Tralee Dynamos 6

TRALEE Dynamos travelled to Clare and came away happy campers after an impressive win. They took charge of this game from the very outset and won hansomely at the end. Przemek Skrzypczak (2), Derek O’Shea, Kevin Williams, John Farragher and Billy Stack scored for the winners.

Classic FC 2 Dingle Bay Rovers 1

A surprise result here with Premier B side Classic FC defeating a very formidable Dingle Bay Rovers side. Darren O’Sullivan and Max Mugabe scored for the winners while Rian O’Sullvan got the Dingle goal.

Strand Road 1 Mitchels Avenue 1 (Strand Road won 3-1 on penos)

STRAND Road shocked cup specialists Mitchels Avenue in the Tralee derby with the game decided in a penalty shoot-out.

After a scoreless first half Mitchels Avenue went ahead with a Scott Hennessy goal, but Strand Road replied with a fine strike from Padraig McCarthy. With stalemate prevailing after 90 minutes and extra-time it went to the shoot out. Goalkeeper Killian Moran became the match winner for Strand Road saving two penalties.
