TIDY TOWNS RESULTS

Congratulations to the local tidy towns committee on achieving a fantastic mark of 300 points in this years competition, and increase of seven points from 2017. A lot of hard work mover the past year brought its reward so well done to all who made the effort. There is still much room for improvement if we are to improve out joint fourth place in the country for next year.

J.P. MCMANUS DONATION

Like all GAA clubs in the country, our local club are grateful for the ongoing generosity of J.P. McManus. His latest donation will be of huge benefit as small rural clubs are finding it increasingly difficult to raise funds. This was a magnificent gesture on the back of Limerick’s All Ireland success. Can we expect a similar response from our many multi-millionaires to deserving causes?
