IN the U-13 National Cup Killorglin had a big home win against GB Rovers in Round 2. Their goals came from Stephen Gannon and Liam Hayes who got two each with Ryan Carey, Andrew Owens and Conor Buckley netting one each.

Unfortunately Castleisland lost 1-0 away at Bridge United while Listowel Celtic lost 2-0 away at Fairview Rangers in Limerick.

However there was much better news for The Park who are a round ahead. They had a good win away to Carew Park. The Tralee sides goals came from an Andrew Kerins hat trick and one each from Justin O’Sullivan, Jack Slattery, Ryan McMahon and Emanuel Manu.

The Park were also winners in the U-15 National Cup as they saw off Ballyhar in Round 3 at Murt Scott Park. Sean O’Connor and Cillian Murphy both got two each for the Park while Stephen Palmer and Fionn Griffin scored for Ballhar.

Killarney Celtic were too strong for Kilfrush Crusaders. Dara O’Connor and Mike McCarthy scored two each with William Harty and Ryan O’Leary getting a goal each.

Killorglin made it a hat trick of wins for Kerry sides as they went to Nenagh and won 2-1. The home side led 1-0 at the break but second half goals from Jack O’Sullivan and Eoghan Hassett strike late on sees the Kerry side into the Round 4.
