Aherns BMW add BMW i to their expanding portfolio
AHERNS BMW, Castleisland, have just announced further development of their Co Kerry premises to incorporate the Sale and Service of electric vehicles under the BMW i brand.
Aherns will be making a substantial investment to upgrade its facility at the Castleisland site in the coming weeks to cater for the new product range. Speaking at the recent contract signing with BMW Group Ireland, Paul Ahern, Head of Business said: “We have great confidence in the BMW brand and are very excited by the future product pipeline and the direction that the BMW Group are heading in. We have been BMW Retailers for many years and we are very proud to be continuing our relationship with such a strong automotive brand. We would also like to thank all of our customers for their fantastic support over the years, it is very much appreciated.”

Aherns will continue to offer the full range of BMW diesel, petrol and plug in hybrid vehicles and this announcement means that they will now offer the full range of BMW i electric vehicles. The electric range is expanding for BMW and they expect to have at least 25 fully electric vehicles in the range by 2025. The BMW i3 is now available to test drive at Aherns.
There are a number of new models coming later this year with Aherns looking forward to the new BMW X5, the new BMW 8 Series and the new BMW Z4 later this year. Next year there will be the new BMW 3 Series, new BMW X7 and also the new BMW iX3.
Aherns have won numerous awards in recent years for their excellent customer service levels in both their sales and service departments and the new development of facilities will further enhance this customer experience.
