Family Resource Centre range of courses

THERE’S no shortage of exciting and nourishing courses at the Listowel Family Resource Centre this winter, with everything from painting to meditation on the cards in a full programme including something for everyone.

Painting with acrylic classes begin on Monday mornings - all interested are encouraged to book now.

Meanwhile, Kate Fitzpatrick will lead people on an exploration of mindful meditation in new course Developing the Skill to Stay Calm in Life. Kate will deliver the course over four sessions – at 7.30pm on Thursdays, November 1, November 15, November 29 and December 6. The course will see people undertaking two meditations each session, working ‘with themes from nature to create a sense of stillness, inner calm and kindness’. It costs €20 for the four weeks.
