Aldi gets the green light for Killarney shop

ALDI has received the green light for a new ‘Project Fresh’ store in Ardshanavooly, Killarney.

It will be adjacent to an existing Killarney store which has been in the town for 12 years.

When complete, it is planned for the new, larger store to replace this existing store.

The store, at more that 1,250 square metres, is about 50 per cent larger than the existing store. It will also offer 113 free car-parking spaces.

Construction is expected to be complete by 2020.
