Kerry ladies plays a blinder at Local Enterprise Office event
KERRY was among the regions represented at a recent National Women’s Enterprise Day recently, the Clayton Springs Hotel in Tivoli, Cork city, hosting an initiative by regional Local Enterprise Offices.
Representatives of the Kerry LEO included Michelle Keane of Knocknagoshel-based Mibeau Interiors. Speaking on the day of the drive and innovation that helped her succeed in the ultra-competitive business world, Ms Keane’s contribution went down a storm with all in attendance.
This year’s theme was “From Local to Global”, with much attention on the success stories of female entrepreneurs.
Aside from Ms Keane, the 150 local entrepreneurs were also treated to guest appearances by Dragons’ Den star Eleanor McEvoy and actress Rachel Sarah Murphy.
“For any female entrepreneurs in business or starting one up, our advice is to come and talk to the team at the Local Enterprise Office and we will quickly put you on a path to the right enterprise supports,” Local Enterprise Office Kerry Business Adviser Fiona Leahy said. “Just start conversation with your Local Enterprise office and we can guide you from there.”
