CAMOGIE: It was another memorable day out for Kerry camogie on Sunday as Clanmaurice retained the Munster Junior Club Camogie Championship title by defeating Crecora of Limerick 1-11 to 1-8 in Newcastle West. Clanmaurice led from the start and led 6 points to 4 at half time and heading into the final quarter, their lead had stretched to seven points. The Limerick side did narrow the gap to leave Kerry fans on the edge of their seats but Clanmaurice were worthy winners. Congratulations to all involved especially the Kilmoyley crew of Orla Young (Captain), Laura Collins, Alanna Maunsell, Jessica Fitzell, Saidhbhe Horgan, Eilish Harrington and to Pete Young, Selector. JUVENILE HURLING CLUB: It was a bright sunny but cold morning for the last training session of the season for our U6/U8/U10 teams on Sunday morning. Kieran McCarthy of the Kilmoyley Senior team came to lend a hand and give them some tips and advice. Kieran presented them with medals at a celebration in the clubrooms afterwards. Many thanks to Kieran for giving up his time.

As this is the last training session for this season a special words of thanks to the trainers for their commitment during the year. Many thanks also to the parents who bring the children every week to training and blitz. It is fantastic to see the improvement in the boys and girls each season. We look forward to seeing them back on the pitch next year. MUNSTER CLUB: Congratulations to Lixnaw who defeated Cashel King Cormacs in the Munster Intermediate club quarter final on Sunday. They will meet Charlleville or Courcey Rovers next Sunday in Lixnaw in the semi final.
