OF the many brilliantly spooky parties in Kerry this Halloween, few can have been better – at least in the costume stakes – than the frightfest held in Killarney’s Grand Hotel.
The Grand’s annual Halloween spectacular saw patrons going to greater lengths than ever before, dressing up as everything from the most bewitching of vampires to the bloodied ghosts straight out of Stephen King’s The Shining.
With a host of awards from the best-themed costume to the scariest and sexiest costumes, it was little wonder South Kerry made such a thrilling effort.
It’s such a killer night by now that the Grand Halloween party enjoys a reputation far beyond Killarney or even the Kingdom, with the undead rising from far and wide and making their terrifying way into the heart of the tourism capital.
