Ladies GAA awards night

THE Kerry Ladies Annual Awards night will take place next Saturday, November 17 at the Rose Hotel in Tralee at 8pm.

Munster championship medals will be presented to the successful Kerry U-14 and U-16 squads. The U-16 squad will also receive All Ireland runners-up medals.

There will also be Player of the Match Awards presented for the Minor , Junior A, Intermediate and Senior Championship finals.

Andrew Morrissey of Radio Kerry will be Master of Ceremonies on the night. ALLIANZ Cumann na mBunscol final go ahead in Austin Stacks Park today Wednesday. Owing to the inclement weather all of Friday’s fixtures fell victim to the weather and those semi f inals were completed with the exception of the Division 1 semi-final on Monday.

At 3pm the 2-Teacher final between Scoil Náisiúnta an Clocháin and Scoil Náisiúnta an Fhoil Mhór.

At 3.30pm in the 3-Teacher final the champions Knockanes take on last year’s finalists Scoil Caitlín Naofa Ceann Trá. In their semi-final Knockanes defeated champions Scoil Réalt na Mara Tuath Ó Síosta, while Ceann Trá defeated Knocknagoshel.

At 4.15 pm the Shield Final between Scoil Eoin Baiste Lios Póil and Tarbert. Lios Póil defeated Loughitane NS in an tremendous game of football and Tarbert defeated a gallant Glenbeigh team after extra time in their semi-final. They scored a goal at the end of normal time to snatch a draw and proved too strong for the Mid Kerry champions in extra time

At 5pm the 4/5-Teacher Final between St Brendan’s NS, Fenit and Barraduff.

At 6pm the Division 1 final featuring Scoil Eoin Balloonagh who had a convincing victory over Réalt na Maidine Listowel and they await the winners of the Holy Family Rathmore and St. Bridgets Duagh clash.
