PREPARATION FOR CHRISTMAS
In this present day climate it is hard to get a committed, loyal and hard working group of volunteers, due to so many different factors, thankfully we are privileged to have such a group of people that look after the well being of our Community. From a very efficient Tidy Towns committee to the people that decorate our village for Christmas, those are the group that deserves huge praise and recognition this week. Because for the last two Saturdays these volunteers have been busy putting in place the various Christmas lights all over the Village and on last Saturday they put in place the magnificent Christmas tree, which will be the centre of attention at the Church Gate when all the lights will be switched on Saturday December 1st after Vigil Mass. A huge thank you to all concerned.
