MUNSTER HURLING

Congratulations to the Junir hurlers of Tournafulla who are through to the next round of the Munster club championship after a 1-22 to 2-9 victory over Kilgarven. The game was played in fine conditions before a large crowd in Tournafulla. The home side were always in control of this game and despite the concession of two soft goals never looked like loosing this fixture. They will face a tougher challenge in the next round and we wish the team and management all the best in the semi-final on Sunday next in Dungarvan against Ballinameela of Waterford wich has a throw in time of 1.30pm.
