Ceann Trá win 3-Teacher final to make up for last year’s final loss

IN the 3-Teacher final Ceann Trá made amends for last year’s final defeat with a thundering finish to claim the title in a fiercely competitive game. Knockanes opened the scoring with an excellent goal from Jamie Moynihan and led 1-1 to 0-3 at the break.
Cian Ó Cinnéide and Cathal ÓDufaigh were mist prominent for Ceann Trá during this period. Only a point separated the sides with minutes remaining as Ceann Trá led 3-5 to 3-4 but the West Kerry team landed a further 1-2 to claim the title in an excellent game.
For Knockanes Tadhg Herlihy, James O’ Connor, Aoibhinn Gleeson and scorer supreme Jamie Moynihan were best while producing an excellent all round team performance the efforts of Cathal Ó Dufaigh, Eoghan Ó Fiannachta and top scorer Cian Ó Cinnéide, are worthy of special mention for Ceann Trá.
