New-look Kerry play with energy and desire

County Board PRO Leona Twiss with all the GAA news

LAST Sunday was a most enjoyable afternoon in Fitzgerald Stadium as we witnessed this new look Kerry team’ play with energy and a desire to win!

The debutants made a very positive impression and didn’t appear at all fazed by the occasion. The 12,921 spectators watched a tactical battle play out on the field over the 70 minutes. Kerry never relinquished their lead and after an intense game, they finished as winners on a scoreline of 11 points to 7.

A special word of thanks to the Fitzgerald Stadium Committee and in particular Der Brosnan for having the venue in superb condition for the much anticipated encounter.

Our next outing is to Kingspan Beffni next Sunday for our round 2 fixture with home-side Cavan. The game throws in at 2pm. Kerry Season ticket holders are asked to go to gate 26 at the top entrance or gate 50 at the rear of the covered stand.
