NEXT Sunday at 3pm, East Kerry and Dr Crokes will battle it out in Austin Stack Park for the Bishop Moynihan Cup. This local derby will be an attractive fixture for all GAA fans.

Championsh­ip has progressed. Certainly, it is too close to call a winner for this game! We are expecting a large crowd and an electric atmosphere!

The curtain raiser is the Munster Post Primary U-15 final involving two Kerry schools – Tralee CBS and St Brendans Killarney. This game is at 1pm and the winner will be presented with the Brother Colm Taft Cup.

Coiste na nÓg have produced a superb match programme with brilliant articles and interviews. Congratula­tions to PRO Damien McCarthy and Jimmy D’arcy O’Sullivan on their publicatio­n. We hope patrons will purchase the programme as all money raised goes to Coiste na nÓg for the running of their competitio­ns.

The chosen ‘Man of the Match’ will receive a beautiful trophy and a voucher for the Dingle Skelligs Hotel sponsored by Garvey’s SuperValu.

Tickets are now available from Centra and Supervalu stores, tickets.ie, the Kerry GAA Store in Killarney and from the County Board office in Tralee. The Adult admission price is €20, Students/ Senior Citizens can purchase tickets on the day only and U16s have free admission.

At half time, the 1994 County Final winners Austin Stacks will be honoured. We look forward to welcoming them to Austin Stack Park on Sunday.

As is tradition, entertainm­ent will be provided by the Killorglin and District Pipeband. We are expecting a top class Garvey’s Senior Football Championsh­ip County Final. Best wishes to both teams!

Mass

THE annual Kerry GAA Supporters Club mass for deceased members will take place on November 14 in the Ballygarry House Hotel at 8pm.

The Kerry Associatio­n Dublin wish to announce that the Ballinteer Male Voice Choir will be performing at the Annual Kerry Associatio­n Mass of Remembranc­e this Friday at 7:30pm. The mass will take place at University Church, St Stephen’s Green, Dublin 2, and everyone is welcome to attend.

This mass will be in honour of deceased family and friends of the Kerry Associatio­n and everyone is invited afterwards to the Harcourt Hotel for some refreshmen­ts.
