CRAFT FAIR

The Annual Ballyduff Craft Fair will take place on Sunday November 24th at Ballyduff Commnuity Centre from 11.00am to 5.00pm. Santa’s Grotta and Face Painting for the children will also be there. For enqueries and to book a table please ring Betty on (087)6403152.

DEATH

The death took place of Philomena (Margaret) Foley (née Keogh), Bishopscou­rt, Ballyduff. Her remains were removed to SS Peter’s & Paul’s Church, Ballyduff. Burial was in Rahela Cemetery. Sympathy is extended to the relatives and friends of the above deceased.

A BETTER BALLYDUFF

Table Quiz on this Saturday 9th November in O’Connor’s Bar, Ballyduff. The money raised will go to the running costs of the Festive Lights that will be up in the village. Table of 4 is €20. Guaranteed to be a great night out.

The Kerry Hospice/Palliative Care Christmas cards are now on sale at Sheehy’s Londis, Ballyduff Post Office, Ballyduff Pharmacy, Ross’s Centra, Kearney’s Hardware in Ballyduff and at Causeway Post Office. Your continued support is greatly appreciate­d and remember all monies raised for this charity in Kerry are used in Kerry.

BALLYDUFF IN BLOOM/ TIDY TOWNS

Our season is coming to a close and we would like to thank everyone who helped in any way during the year. We intend to remove our flower tubs from the village soon and plant some spring flowers and hopefully have some Christmas displays. Our Tidy Town marks increased again this year but unfortunat­ely we lost marks for tidiness and litter control. We hope to improve in this category next year with your support.

CRAFT AND FOOD FAIR:

The Ballylongf­ord Craft and Food Fair will take place on Sunday November 17th. Doors open from 10am to 5pm. Beautiful Christmas present ideas and tasty treats. All are welcome.

DEATH

The death has occurred of Kathleen (Kitty) Walsh, nee O’ Leary, 32 Marian Park, Ballyheigu­e. Reposed last Thursday evening the 31st October at Hartnett’s Funeral Home, Ballyheigu­e. Requiem Mass took place on Friday in St. Mary’s Church, Ballyheigu­e and burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetary, Ballyheigu­e.

MAY SHE REST IN PEACE Died Peacefully at Palliative Care, University Hospital Kerry on the 30th October 2019. Sadly missed by her loving family - Beloved wife of Chris, Daughters Martina, Joanne and Therese, Son Christophe­r, Daughter in law Karen, Sons in law, Michael, Jason and Timmy. Her 9 grandchild­ren, sisters and brothers, sisters in law and brothers in law, nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
