East Kerry GAA All Stars to be named

BY close of business on Friday night the 150th East Kerry GAA All Star will be handed out, and the 10th Senior and Young Footballer of the East Kerry SFC will have been honoured.

Add in the seventh Intermediate Championship Footballer of the Year, Kilcummin club stalwart Billy Doolan being inducted into the Hall of Fame and the East Kerry senior football team manager, Jerry O’Sullivan, being named the East Kerry GAA Personality of the Year for 2019, and those 200 or so patrons lucky enough to get their hands on the hottest ticket in Killarney town this weekend will have been party to one of the best and brightest nights on the Kerry GAA calendar in 2020. And the year won’t even be three weeks old!

It’s hard to believe that the East Kerry GAA All Stars celebrates its tenth anniversary this year, yet it seems like only yesterday that these awards took root, and they have grown and blossomed since.

For nine of those years The Kerryman newspaper has been proud to be the media sponsor of the All Stars.
