OPERATION TRANSFORMA­TION: There was a great turnout at the first of our Operation Transforma­tion walks last Thursday evening. We will be continuing the walks every Tuesday and Thursday evening leaving from The Complex @ 7.15pm. All are welcome to come along and join us. SENIOR AWARDS NIGHT: The Club’s Senior Awards night will take place on Saturday, 1st February @ 9.00pm in The Complex. On the night our Senior Team will receive their N.K. Senior League medals and we will also be honouring the 1994 Junior C’Ship Winning team. Player of the Year, Clubperson of the Year, Hall of Fame and Special Merit are among the other awards that will be presented on the night.

LAST MAN STANDING: will commence on Saturday, Feb 1st. Prize Money of €500 on offer once again. For entry please text Brian on 087-9629537. Proceeds will go the Bord Na nÓg within the club. CONGRATULA­TIONS: to Kieran Dineen and James O’Connor who were part of the Na Gaeil Football Team that secured a place in the All-Ireland Junior Club Final. The Final will be played as curtain-raiser to the Kerry -v- Dublin Football match in Croke Park on Saturday, January 25th.

AGM: Our Annual General Meeting took place on 11th January. Thanks to all who attended. Our Executive Committee will continue in their current roles for 2020: Paudie Moriarty, Chairman; Mairead Clifford, Secretary; James McCarthy, Treasurer; Shane Foley, Assistant Treasurer and Elaine Barry, PRO. We are seeking volunteers for the positions of Vice Chairman and Assistant Secretary, if interested, please contact any of our committee. SENIORS: Best of luck to our Seniors for 2020. Their season starts on Sunday, 2pm, away to Castlegreg­ory, in Round 1 of the West Kerry League. LOTTO: There was no winner of the Lotto jackpot this week, the jackpot is now €5000. The numbers drawn were 2, 4, 5 and 27. The next draw will take place on 16th January in Hanafin’s Bar. Congratula­tions to our €40 winners; Mairead Sheehy, Gurteens; Mary Ann Curran, Ballintarm­in; Devine Family, Annascaul and Aine and Brid Foley, Inch.
