Dragons Den gets blitzes underway

DRAGON’S DEN UNDER 10

UNDER 10 players from clubs all over the county gathered in Dragon’s Den for the first blitz of their season. Thirty two teams with over 300 players were involved in a great day’s action. The blitzes for the Under 10s and Under 11s will continue ahead of our Emerging Talent Programmes for the younger age groups.

JK SPORTS UNDER 12 Premier

LEADERS Killarney Athletic were one of sides who game fell to the weather. In this Division the big movers were Killorglin who are up to fourth after winning 5-4 in a ninegoal thriller against Camp Juniors.

In the other game Mastergeeh­a and Listowel Celtic shared the points in a 2-2 draw.

Ben Crowley and Rory O’Connor scored for the home side with Cathal Byrne getting both for Listowel Celtic.

Division 1

INTER Kenmare remain tied at the top of the table despite going down to Ballyhar at Murt Scott Park. Harry O’Connor and Jim O’Dowd both hit two each and Conrad Long the fifth for Ballyhar while Philip O’Sullivan and Caoileann Desmond replied for Inter.

Mastergeeh­a. The goals for the Tralee side came from Marciej Kubik (four), Mateusz Plasscica (two) and Seán Martin and they now have seven wins from seven played.

Ballyheigu­e took the win away at Camp Juniors thanks to goals from Aodhan Horgan, Xavier Wensierski, Mathew O’Sullivan, Brandon Leen and Adam Lee. David O’Donnell and Jason Barrett replied for Camp Juniors.

Division 2 South

DINGLE Bay Rovers are the team that no one has beaten so far in the Under 12 Division 2 South and are on seven wins from seven. Goals for Dingle Bay came from Pádraig Manning (three), Jack Diver and Cillian McNamara.

Timmy Ryan, Eli Anderson and David O’Donoghue were on the mark for Athletic.

DALY’S SUPERVALU UNDER 13

Division 1

THERE was one game in the uneven age groups played in midweek with Killarney Athletic making the cross town trip a winning one as they defeated Killarney Celtic 3-0. Dara Griffin hit all three goals for Athletic.

TRALEE TROPHY WORLD UNDER 16

Premier

THE top two met and it was leaders the Park that took the win in Christy

Leahy Park over Killorglin. Cianan Cooney and Cillian Murphy both hit two each with Ronan Teehan getting the fifth.

Division 1 North

WITH Tralee Dynamos, five wins from five, leading the way not in action due to the weather Listowel Celtic made the most of their opportunit­y defeating Ballyheigu­e. The Celtic goals came from Jack Moloney (four), Adam Segal (two) and Ajay Behan (two).

Division 1 South

BALLYHAR Dynamos are up to second after their win over Killorglin at Murt Scott Park. The goals came from Luke Ring (four), James Horgan, Colin Callaghan, Padraig Fell and Aaron Burke.
