Kerry go to the end
County Board PRO Leona Twiss with all the GAA news
KERRY supporters were treated to a very entertaining game last Saturday night in Tralee, the never say die attitude was evident at the end as the Kerry players worked very hard to get the result.
We witnessed some great point scoring in the first half and Paul Geaney’s goal plus Killian Spillane’s point got us over the line resulting in two more points on the Division 1 table. A huge crowd attended with 11,117 cited as the official attendance.
It was great to see such home support and the loud cheers and chants coming from all around the grounds, particularly in the last ten minutes, really lifted the team. We wish to thank the Supporters, the Austin Stack Park committee, Ger O’Mahony the Chief Groundsman, the stewards, the medics, the programme sellers and the media for making it a great evening under lights in Tralee.
On next to Tyrone next Sunday at 2pm in Healy Park Omagh. Tickets are currently on sale – adults €15 pre-purchase price and U-16s are free. For those that aren’t in a position to travel, the game will be live on Radio Kerry and also will be shown on TG4.
The Kerry GAA Supporters Club will be traveling to Omagh and the following are the travel times - Farranfore 9am, Tralee 9.30am and Listowel 10am. Peter Keane will be announcing his team at 8pm next Friday on the Kerry GAA website.

Referees and Stewards
A REFEREES’ Foundation course begins on Friday, February 7 at the Centre of Excellence in Currans. This is important for clubs who wish to recruit referees for juvenile games, especially at Under 12 and Under 14 level.
There is a Stewards training day next Saturday. We need to recruit new stewards as they play a central role on game day. The recruitment is open to males and females over the age of 18. Please contact Eamon O’Sullivan, Tony O’Keeffe or Brendan McCarthy for further information.
