-

INTER-LEAGUE

KERRY went into their latest SFAI Subway Under 14 game in second place in the group on four points from two games behind Cork who have seven points, but have played three.

And Kerry made the trip to the WIT to take on Waterford a winning one. They started the better and an Andrew Kerins goal had Kerry ahead early on. Waterford got their equaliser just before the break.

Into the second half and Kerry’s winner was a cracker with Seamus Kelly beating the home keeper from distance. Kerry now take on South Tipperary in Mounthawk Park at 2pm this Sunday.

Under 11

THE young Kerry stars in the Under 11 Emerging Talent Programme welcomed their Limerick County counterparts to Christy Leahy Park for four games with both leagues winning two each.

The leagues will play each other again next week where different squads will be on duty. Over 90 players at Under 11 level are involved with the KSBGL.
