DEATH:

The death has occurred of John Martin O’Carroll, Doonferris, Lisselton and formerly, Asdee. John Martin had a long association with the Kerry Emigrants, with whom he worked tirelessly for many years. His popularity was evident at the huge attendance as he lay in repose at his daughter’s, Marina and Jerry McSherry’s residence and again at the Funeral Mass in St Theresa’s Church and burial in Kinlconly Cemetery. Sympathy is extended to his wife, Joan, daughters, Marina McSherry, Jackie Kelliher, Jennifer O’Neill, to his sons-in-law, grandchildren, sister-in-law and to their extended families, his many friends and neighbours. May he rest in peace.
