SENIORS: Well done to our Seniors who defeated Lispole, 2-08 to 7 points in the final round of the West Kerry League. Next weekend, our Seniors will take part in the Paidi O’Se Tournament next weekend. On Saturday, 11:30, Annascaul will host Kiskeam, Cork.

BRENDAN O’DRISCOLL SCHOLARSHI­P TRUST: The Brendan O’Driscoll Trust was set up in remembranc­e of Annascaul Gaelic Footballer, Brendan Bawnie O’Driscoll, who died tragically after collapsing while playing a West Kerry Championsh­ip game for his beloved Annascaul GAA club in October 2011.

The Trust Fund wish to announce that we are now accepting applicatio­ns for the bursary for €1000 for 2019-20. Applicatio­ns are welcome from third level students from the West Kerry Area, applicants must be a member of one of the clubs that make up the West Kerry Board; Annascaul, Lispole, Castlegreg­ory, Dingle and An Gaeltacht, and must be in their first year of a third level college course. Interested parties can get an applicatio­n form by sending an email to bodtrust@gmail. com or ring 087 9297067 for further informatio­n. MEMBERSHIP: Club Membership can now be paid to our Club Secretary or online at www.cluforce.com. Categories of membership are as follows: Senior/Junior player €50; Social Membership €30 - includes entitlemen­t to vote at AGMs and entry to members only draws for All-Ireland Final tickets; Supporter Club Membership €50 - includes the benefits of social membership plus entry to all home County League Games only, this does not include championsh­ip or away games. Supporter Club Members will receive a membership card to be presented at home county league games. MINORS: The Annascaul/Lispole/ Dingle Minors will begin their County League Campaign away to St Senans, 22nd February.

INCH CHRISTMAS DAY SWIM: Many thanks to all who participat­ed in the Inch Christmas Day swim, donated money, supported and helped out on the day. A whopping €3,455 was raised and donated to the Kerry Cancer Support Group recently. All proceeds will be used by the K.C.S.G. to purchase a wheel chair accessible bus. This is the largest sum of money raised to date at the Inch Christmas Day swim. Also, a huge thank you to Sammy’s Restaurant who provided compliment­ary heart-warming drinks to all swimmers. Plans are already underway for Christmas Day 2020. All welcome! outside the parish wishing to play this year must be registered before 1st March. No registrati­on allowed after this date. Membership fees: Senior players €60. Students €35. Adult non players €30. Juveniles U8-U18s €30. U6s €20. Family membership €70. SENIOR FOOTBALL: Last weekend’s game against Churchill in the St. Brendan’s Board senior league postponed because of the weather.

MINOR FOOTBALL: All games in the minor league were called off last weekend due to the weather. Training continues on Tuesday and Friday nights.

JUVENILES: U16 training continues on Wednesday evenings. U14s play their first game in the town league at home to Ballymac next weekend. U12 outdoor training starts this Friday, 21st February, from 7-8 at Banna Astro turf. U10 & U8 training starts on Saturday 14th March at Banna Astro turf. U8 from 4pm-5pm & U10 from 5pm-6pm.
