Kerry U-20 team to play Limerick

-

KERRY Under 20 boss John Sugrue has selected a strong side to face Limerick in the Kingdom’s opening game the Munster Under 20 Football Championship, despite not being able to call upon the services of star man Dónal O’Sullivan who has evidently still not fully recovered from the injury he picked up against Cork in the first round of the McGrath Cup just after Christmas.

The Renard club man has selected captain Paul O’Shea of Kilcummin at corner-forward, with former minor footballer of the year Paul Walsh of Brosna slotting into the side at wing-forward. Austin Stacks’ Dylan Casey mans the numbers 6 shirt and Glenflesk’s Marc Kelliher edges out the AFL-bound Deividas Uosis for the goalkeeping shirt.

Kerry play Firies native Jerry O’Sullivan’s Limerick in the Munster semi-final in the Gaelic Grounds this evening [Wednesday] with a 7pm throw-in.
