Footballers gain important win

County Board PRO Leona Twiss with all the GAA news

-

It was great to see such large support in Killarney last weekend. Perhaps the biggest cheer of the day was reserved for Tommy Walsh and his weight-lifting skills. Huge credit is owed to Der Brosnan, John Lenihan and all involved with the Fitzgerald Stadium for having the field so perfect that it could host four games over two days. Our thanks to everyone who contributed to Sunday’s success and now we look forward to the trip to Castlebar. The game against Mayo throws in at 7.15pm on Saturday and will be televised on RTÉ and eir Sport.

Tickets are on sale from the Centra & SuperValu stores and from the Kerry GAA Store in Killarney. Tickets are €15 until Friday night and are €20 on Saturday. We wish everyone a safe journey to Mayo. The Kerry team will be announced at 8pm on Friday on the Kerry GAA website.

The Chairman highlighted how Kerry GAA and the Credit Union movement are a perfect fit for one another as both represent a very strong community spirit. The 2019 Credit Union League Winners were presented with their cheques last Monday night at the Launch.

A number of officers from the Kerry GAA CCC along with Credit Union representatives will be on Terrace Talk next Monday night to discuss the games as we look forward to another year of excitement in the Credit Union County Leagues!
