Antrim draw with Offaly secures final spot

THERE were wins for Kilmoyley, Abbeydorney and Ballyduff in the opening round of the 2020 Credit Union County Senior
Hurling League Division 1 last weekend.
On Friday night under lights at Abbeydorney, the home side had a high scoring 3-20 to 5-10 win over Kilgarvan. On Saturday evening, in very poor weather conditions, Ballyduff had a 2-11 to 0-4 home win over Ballyheigue while at Dromakee, Kilmoyley defeated Crotta O’Neill’s by 2-11 to 1-10. Causeway received a walkover from St. Brendan’s while Lixnaw had a bye in Round 1.
Round 2 is due to be played on St. Patrick’s Day: Crotta O’Neill’s v Ballyduff; Ballyheigue v Abbeydorney; Lixnaw v St. Brendan’s; Causeway v Kilmoyley. Kilgarvan has a bye. Times to be confirmed.

WEEK 4 of the Tralee Parnell’s Under 6 boys and girls, Under 8 and Under 10 boys Spring Hurling Academy continues at the Kerry Sports Academy (KSA) on this Friday, March 6 from 7 – 8pm. Cúl Camps 2020
THE 2020 Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps for Hurling & Camogie in Kerry will take place as follows: Ardfert & Rathmore (29 June - 3 July), Lixnaw & Ballyduff (6 - 10 July); Ballyheigue & Kenmare (13 - 17 July); Causeway (20 - 24 July); Abbeydorney & Dr. Crokes (27 - 31 July); Crotta O’Neill’s – Dromakee & Farranfore (3 - 7 August) and Kilmoyley & Tralee Parnell’s (10 – 14 August). Cost for 2020 is €65 per child with reductions for additional members of families. Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps are open to children between the ages of 6 to 13. The hours of the camps are 10am to 2.30pm. Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camp gear and backpack are included in the cost of the camp. Registration is now open at www.gaa.ie/kelloggsculcamps.
