Park Under 13 girls up to third after win over Ballyheigu­e

GIRLS LEAGUES

IN the Girls Under 13 Division 1 St Brendan’s Park are up to third after a 4-1 win over Ballyheigu­e. The Park’s goals came from Amy Scanlon, Ciara Drummy and Aoife Begley (2).

In the Under 15 Premier leaders Killarney Celtic are now on five wins from five after their win over Listowel Celtic. Aideen O’Brien (2) and Tiarna Murphy got the Celtic goals. Ruth O’Connor replied for Listowel Celtic.

Inter Kenmare are up to second following a goal in each half in a 2-0 win over Fenit away. Tara Desmond and Tamara Nikic got the Inter goals.

Camp Juniors also moved up with the three points from their game against Castleisla­nd.

INTER LEAGUE

THE Kerry Under 12s side made it two wins in a row and have moved up to second place in Group 2 of the SFAI Subway Munster Inter League competitio­n.

Kerry were 3-0 up at half time thanks to goals from Szymon Jasinski, Robert Keane and Darragh Murphy. Limerick United hit two with the wind in the second half but Kerry defended well and took all three points. They will play their final Group game at home to table toppers Cork United this Sunday.

GAYNOR QUALIFIERS

THE 2020 Gaynor Girls qualifiers continued with the visit of Waterford to Georgie O’Callaghan Park. The Under 13s enjoyed a very good win thanks to goals from Suvi O’Connor and Sarah Fitzgerald. Waterford did hit the crossbar late on but Kerry took all three points with a 2-1 win.

The Under 15 went one down early on but battled hard to get back into the game, but Waterford hit two late goals. The qualifier continue over the next two months.

UNDER 15 FRIENDLY

THE Kerry Under 15s are within a few weeks of the start of the new underage League of Ireland season. They were in Cobh for a friendly and enjoyed a good day with goals from Yogo Cornide, Oisin Healy, Jamie O’Sullivan (2), Cillian Mulvihill and Oisin Breen
