Kerry School of Music is a strong, resilient and determined organisation committed to providing music education and training at affordable cost to the widest number of people possible in Kerry. Because of the unprecedented happenings of the past week, all classes, recitals, masterclasses and other performances organised by Kerry School of Music throughout the county are suspended until further notice. The health of our partons, board of directors, teachers, administration staff, students, parents and audiences is of primary concern to us. While classes are suspended and our headquarters in High St. is shut, planning our wide range of services continues with undiminished energy.

We thank you for your continued support of our endeavours and will resume our academic and performance programmes at the earliest possible juncture.

In the meantime, enjoy St. Patrick’s Day and please take care of yourselves and others. and the wider public going forward shall continue to be of the utmost importance.

CLUBHOUSE

The clubhouse will be closed for the foreseeable future. This means that our Monday night bingo, Tuesday night lotto and Wednesday night card playing are suspended indefinitely as well as all other activities that normally took place there on a weekly basis.

PERSONALRESPONSIBILITY

As we are living in testing times we all have a personal responsibility to adhere to the government and HSE guidelines and ensure that we implement them fully. Hand washing and social distancing are essential if we are to keep Covid 19 at bay so we all have to play our part and we can fight this together.

OURCOMMUNITY

It is important at this time that we are mindful of any vulnerable people living in our community. We should contact them by phone and if they are unable to leave their home arrange shopping and deliveries for them. Ar scáth a chéile a mhaireann na daoine.

SYMPATHY

We offer our sincere sympathy to Ger Doyle on the death of his three
