Ar Scáth a Chéile a Mhairimíd Our Local Newspapers and Publications

It is a hard time for our local papers and publications who keep us up to date all year on sports and community activities. Over the years we have got great coverage for club, county and national games. During the current crisis they are still operating and we appreciate their efforts especially in these difficult economic times. Its great to read and see all the links on line with old and many forgotten games being published. It helps us spend many a quiet hour being entertained and helps us forget our worries’ in the short term. We thank them all for their continued service at this vital time and we hope you all take the time to support them by buying a weekly paper or subscribing on line

Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Kate, his two boys Harvey and Sam, his parents Betty and Con, brother Tony and to all the extended Leen family at this very difficult time.David played football with our club at every level. David will be sadly missed by his many friends and teammates throughout the club. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.

Stay strong Brosna.

Camp passed away peacefully last week in the loving care of the wonderful staff at St. Columbanus Community Hospital Killarney.

Helen was a lovely caring person, devoted to her religion and to St. Marys Church. A Sacristan and an Eucharist Minister with the Church, Helen brought the Sacraments to the sick and elderly of the parish as well as attending at Masses in the Church for many years.

Helen was predeceased by her husband Jim. Sadly missed by her sister Kate, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends.Requiem Mass took place Tuesday 14th April in St. Mary’s Church Camp followed with Burial in Camp Cemetery. Rest In Peace.
