DEATH

The death has occurred of Peggy (Margaret) O’Connell (nee Leahy) of Clahaneleish, Ballyheigue and late of Ballinagar, Lixnaw, County Kerry. Peacefully, at her home in the loving care of her family and friends.

Sadly missed by her loving husband Vinny, her daughter Anne-Marie (Hassett), her sons Vincent and Donal, her grandchildren Shane, Liam, Katie, Sarah, Jacqui, Amber and Noah, her son-in-law Ger, her daughters-inlaw Deirdre and Kate, her brother Mick in New York, her nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends especially Noreen, Mary, Kathleen, Pauline, Patricia, Agnes, Mary, Joan and Bridie who took such great care of her over the years.

A private family funeral took place on Friday, the 8th of May. A remembrance mass for Peggy will take place at a later date.

May she rest in peace.

Part of the Covid-19 Emergency Response Forum. Our dedicated staff are here to help everyone in our community. We are delivering delicious hot Meals while also checking in on our most vulnerable. We are also collecting and returning laundry and helping with shopping orders etc. to ensure our most vulnerable can isolate and keep safe in their own homes.

GAA VOLUNTEER DELIVERY

The Ballyheigue GAA Club have a group of volunteers that are available to support collection and delivery of essentials to elderly and isolated members of our Community.
