EVENTS

As the restrictions that go with the Covid 19 all events Kerry Hospice Foundation for May and June are postponed which includes Sunflower days.

We have joined forces with the many Hospice facilties and groups around Ireland to set up Together for Hospice. On this Web page you can donate to any of the 26 groups around Ireland to help in the current time when fundraising is postponed for the time being.

Marty Morrisery is heading the PR on this and is a huge support with some videos and radio clips promoting the drive.

To support your local county click on Together for Hospice. Then go in to Kerry Hospice Foundation where you can donate if you would like to.

Remember all that is raised in Kerry stays in Kerry.

BAKE FOR KERRY HOSPICE

The Bake for Kerry Hospice was an online event and one that really took off. The Dolly’s in Listowel also set up a sister page which is flying also. A huge thank you to Billy Keane for the mention on national TV and the Kerryman for the feature. We are hugely grateful to all who baked and donated to this.

STEPS IN MAY

Monica Sheehan is flying with her challenge of doing 620,00 steps in May. She is well on her way doing more then 20,000 steps every day. If you would like to support click on every day hero page of Kerry Hospice facebook page where you will find link.

BIG NEWS

We are hoping to run a virtual run / walk on the long weekend in June. Michele Greaney who is a huge support always is working on setting it up online. We hope that because of restrictions people will sign up and do what ever distance preferred, make a donation and receive a medal for your run or walk.

Again a lot of our fundraising now has to be done online and as the Sunflower Day which raises huge funds every year we are trying to come up with a few events. Stay tunned for more.

We appreciate the current climate and know there is many many worthy charities trying to raise funds at the moment but we would be grateful for any support possible.

We would like to thank you all again for the continued support and hope you are all keeping safe and well.
