A LITTLE FOGGING HELP GOES A LONG WAY TO GETTING SHOPS BACK ON THEIR FEET
ASDEE FIRM ON HAND WITH SPECIAL ‘FOGGING’ DEVICE IN COVID FIGHT
HAVEN’T the ‘foggiest’ as to how to safely reopen business now the COVID restrictions are beginning to ease?
One North Kerry company has got it covered – with the aid of a special sanitising system it claims gives up to 30 days’ protection from the virus.
Asdee-based Pure Air Systems has its finger on the pulse of the nation this week as more and more retail outlets reopen amid serious concerns about customer and staff safety in the face of the coronavirus.
But thanks to a special ‘ fogging’ system the Asdee firm has the sole rights for in this country, shops can take the first steps to a safer trading future with greater confidence.
Pure Air owner Billy Sweeney and staff were on hand at Ross’s Centra in Ballyduff on Wednesday last to show just how the whole thing works.
Owner Liam Ross watched as the Pure Air experts deployed the fogging device, sanitising seemingly every surface within the popular outlet in a matter of minutes.
And it’s not just Covid that the Centra is now free from. The system – Zoono – is proven to be 99 per cent effective against coronaviruses in general, E Coli, H1n1 Swine Flu, MRSA, noroviruses and many more, the company claim.
“As business people turn their heads to the challenge of re-opening and adjusting to the so-called ‘ new normal’ it is obvious that their priority is to create certainty around the safety of their premises,” Mr Sweeney said.
“The treatment of any premises, hotel, retail or office using Zoono will form a significant part of a business’s efforts to comply with the return to work protocols. The monthly treatment can become an integral part of a business’s safety protocols without the need to disturb the normal pattern of work.
“Fogging/spraying can be carried out by arrangement at times which avoid disruption to the business,” Mr Sweeney told The Kerryman.
He said the system is growing in use in the region and, indeed, globally. In fact, Zoono recently passed a stringent industry test in the UK in a major step forward as it vies to become the preferred sanitising treatment for the entire London Underground.
Mr Sweeney said one of the other benefits of the treatment is the fact it doesn’t have to be constantly reapplied, like many anti-bacterial agents. It creates an ‘invisible antimicrobial shield’ on all treated surfaces, he claimed: “Zoono is the only product that can achieve these results without the need for constant reapplication all day every day... as businesses re-open we are confident of growing the client-base significantly.”
