our underage Cup competitions (the hope is that these Cup competitions will be finalised in the autumn).

“We have enjoyed a lot of success over the years especially last season, 2018/2019, where our juvenile teams competed in six (6) Cup competitions, winning three (3) of them. They were the Under 12 Cup and Under 12 Shield and Under 13 Cup.

“Our Under 13s and Under 14s also won their respective Leagues. Our Under 11 team reached the final of the Bernardo’s Cup in June 2019 and this team went onto further success when they became the first team from outside Dublin to win the DB Sports Cup in August 2019, which is a highly rated and prestigious Cup competition played in Dublin with competing teams from all over Ireland.

“Within our juvenile section, we have an Academy which caters for children up to 10 years of age. They receive coaching from qualified coaches, some of whom have

UEFA Coaching Badges.

“The club are most fortunate to have a very dedicated number of committed coaches, some of whom were former players within the club and who are now passing on their vast experience to these young players.

“Our Academy has grown substantially in the recent past and caters for large numbers of children who enjoy our superb facilities with both grass pitches and the recent addition of our Astro training pitch in 2018.

“The club have had some juvenile players attend Irish Squad training in Dublin over the past few seasons and this is testament to the calibre of coaches within the club. Also, we have had representation on the Kerry teams in the national Under 13 and Under 15 league of Ireland over the past two seasons.

“With our committed and dedicated team of coaches it is our aspiration that the Academy continue to develop and flourish.”
