BPM

The BPM committee invite all Primary, Second and Third Level students to submit your photo for inclusion in the 2020 edition of your Parish Magazine.

In these extraordinary times it will be a record for the next generation to see this generation in their schooldays during the Covid_19 Pandemic. Anyone who would like to write a tribute to a loved one who passed away during the past year to do so as soon as possible, include a photo if desired.

All entries for Competitions, the Maurice Walsh Creative Writing, Johnnie Bambury Poetry, Marie Kennelly Photographic as well as entries for all levels of School competitions should be e-mailed to magazine@ballydonoghue. or post to Lisselton Post Office.

Photographs of family occasions, both current and past, are very welcome. Include as much detail as possible with them. Confirmation or old School photos from Lisselton School 1938–1942 are of particular interest to the committee.

Finally, if you are aware of any old fountains/wells/pumps in the parish or surrounding areas, eg. Gale Cross was one that many people used, please contact the Magazine with location so that it can be photographed for the 2020 edition. These water features were very common years back as people regularly drew drinking water for from them.

COVID-19

Socially distancing and good coughing/ sneezing etiquette is vitally important as well as good hand hygiene to protect yourself and others around you.
