A club appointed official (maoirseoir covid / maor coróinvíris) will do a precautionary check on players’ temperatures and will fill in health questionnaires to ensure that everybody is virus free.

(iv) 10th August -- players may enter the clubhouse and gym. Meantime, be working as hard as ever on your skills, speed, strength and stamina.... scileanna, luas, neart agus teacht aniar? FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT

Take a look at www.gaa.ie/mygaa/getting-involved/kids-activities? Over the past 10 weeks a free home-workout challenge, Fighting the Good Fight, was on the web. Initially the challenge was set up for a 5 week period to keep everybody active during lockdown but because of the great response from GAA members it was extended by a further 5 weeks. Over 1,500 had a go at the challenge, each receiving a home-workout programme with speed drills or nutritional advice or physio advice. A programme has now been designed to assist and help players of all levels prepare for their return to club action at the end of July. This programme is intended to ensure that players are in peak condition when action resumes and, if followed correctly, should reduce the likelihood of injury. Check the web to view details on the programme.

RYPT

(Reach Your Potential Training) is a software platform which enables coaches to deliver group or individual programmes to their players; it enables coaches to engage with and support players.
