€3k pot on offer at Castleisland’s ‘Drive-in Bingo’ extravaganza

-

IT’S probably safe to boast that Ireland’s biggest Drive-In-Bingo session will be held in Castleisland on the coming Sunday afternoon, July 5, from 2.30pm, with a pot of €3,000 to be won.

The gates will open to the Castleisland CoOp Mart yard at 12.30pm to accommodate the attendance and to allow ample time for players to manoeuvre cars into position.

A large team of gilet jaune-clad volunteers will oversee a regime of strict adherence to rules surrounding COVID-19 restrictions.

Toilet facilities will be well positioned around the spacious yard, and hand-sanitising stations and social-distancing practices will be in force and enforced where deemed necessary.

Those naturally isolated in their cars and the players using the covered areas are both being encouraged to wear face masks.

In any case, masks will also be provided with the purchase of bingo books on the day.
