South Kerry Local Employment Service & Jobs Club: Supporting your opportunities

For over 24 years, the South Kerry LES & the Jobs Club has provided career guidance and financial support which has enabled people to access a wide range of education and training courses that greatly enhance their access to sustainable employment.

According to LES Manager, Bridie Buckley, the training available covers a broad range of areas and is aimed at meeting both market demand for qualified staff, as well as ensuring the people who are interested in undertaking training-targeted specific careers can secure the relevant support to succeed.

Moreover, the South Kerry LES & Jobs Club has helped thousands of people into paid employment by assisting them with their job search, providing relevant skills training, preparation of C. V’s, letters of applications, as well as developing their interview skills.

“We have funded or part-funded courses in the following sectors: Construction, Beauty, Healthcare, Childcare, Agriculture, Services Sector, Transport, Security, etc. Whether it is Guidance, Funding, Self-employment, Social Welfare Entitlements, we can help,” said Bridie.
