Ladies Club: We had a good response to form a Senior Ladies Team. Thanks to everyone who got in contact with the club. It now looks promising that we will have enough players to field a Glenflesk Ladies Senior Team for the coming year 2021. We will be in contact with the County Board regarding what division and league we will be competing in. The club is now in the process of organising a head coach, assistant coach and a strength and conditioni­ng coach. The club is also seeking sponsorshi­p of their Senior Ladies Team for the year ahead. EVERY STEP COUNTS The new ‘Every Step Counts Challenge’ will throw in on January 13 and will run over seven weeks until March 3. Keel GAA has signed up for this challenge and we hope that our members and local community will get involved. The aim of the challenge is for our members/ community to walk 4,000km altogether. When we walk 4,000kms altogether we will be entered into a draw to win prizes. You can be part of the challenge by downloadin­g the MyLife app from the App store or Google Play store. All details can be found on our Facebook and Twitter pages. WALKING TRACK In accordance with GAA guidelines the walking track can remain open for use by the community with social distancing in place. Therefore, we ask all those who are using the walking track to maintain at least a 2m social distance from other walkers and to follow all COVID-19 guidelines when using the walking track. The lights will be turned on between 6:30-8:30 every Tuesday and Thursday. We hope that you can get active and also take part in the ‘Every Step Counts Challenge’.
