AGM: Laune Rangers AGM took place last Friday evening on the Microsoft Teams platform. There was one motion to be discussed:- The Club Executive moved that the Secretary of our LGFA Committee be added to the Executive Committee alongside the Ladies Chairperso­n. This motion was passed. Hence, Loretta Patton will join new LGFA Chair Selina O’Connor on our Executive Committee. All other Officers were returned unopposed, therefore the Club Officers for 2021 are as follows: Honourary President: Barth Moriarty. Chairperso­n: Mary Quirke. Vice-Chairperso­n: Sinead Pigott. VOLUNTEER AWARD: Congratula­tions to our own Selina O’Connor who has been awarded the Kerry recipient’s medal in the ‘Volunteer in Sports Awards” by the Federation of Irish Sports. A virtual ceremony will take place on Wednesday, January 13th at 7pm and can be viewed on the Federation for Irish Sport Facebook page. Covid-19 Vaccine: We wish all the residents and staff of Ashborough Lodge Nursing the very best as they receive their scheduled Covid 19 vaccines on January 15th. Fanaigí go léir slán sabháilte.

CLUB AGM: Our club AGM is scheduled for January 29. With recent changes to restrictio­ns as part of Covid-19, we are still awaiting confirmati­on of the format of the meeting. In the interim, should any-one be interested in getting involved in the club, please contact any member of the club executive. Fundraisin­g Lotto Jackpot €12,800: Our most recent draw took place last Saturday morning. Numbers drawn were 1,5,20 with a bonus number of 21. Our jackpot was not won but we had six consolatio­n prize-winners.

Any tickets bought after this time will be included in the draw for the following week.
