Meanwhile, the deadline for the BBF Writing Competitions has been extended to May 31st. No better way for children and adults alike to fill their Lockdown time, than to write a poem or story in English or Irish and submit it to the competitions, either by e-mail to magazine@ballydonoghue. net or by post to BBF Competitions, Lisselton Post Office. Full details of how to enter to be found on the website at ballydbardfest.com.
