Laune Rangers GAA Club

Our Club Fundraiser is into its final week with the draw taking place this weekend. 1st Prize is a trip for two to the U.S. Masters. 2nd Prize is a trip for two to Aintree. Tickets are E20 and are available through the Club website - just click on the picture, from all Club Officers and other various locations throughout the town (Bunkers, Mulvihills, Falveys, O'shea's, Francies).

FUNDRAISER:

Laune Rangers Seniors were away to Milltown/castlemaine in Round 2 of the Mid-kerry League last weekend. Both sides fielded young teams and had to settle for a share of the points with the final score Laune Rangers 0-09 - 0-09 Milltown/castlemaine.

SENIORS:

The Minors were away to Rathmore on Saturday last in the opening round of the County League. Unfortunately the Minors were beaten on a score line of Laune Rangers 1-10 - 2-11 Rathmore. Next round sees the Minors at home to St. Finans on Sunday March 10th at 3pm

SENIOR LADIES:

The Senior Ladies were away to Listowel Emmets in Round 1 of this year's County League on Sunday last. The newly promoted Emmets proved too strong for our girls winning on a score line of Laune Rangers 2-10 - 512 Listowel Emmets.

REGISTRATION EVENING:

There will be a registration evening on Friday 9th March at 7:30pm in the J.p.o'sullivan Park.

There will be a Club meeting on Thursday 1st March at 8pm in the J.P. O'sullivan Park Clubrooms. Club meetings are open to all members.

Membership is now due. The rates for the coming year are: Family - E70. Adult - E50. Juvenile player - E50. O.A.P. - E20. If any player (+18) is interested in getting a special membership rate including gym, talk to the Registrars. Deadline for membership is 31st March.

Congratulations to the young people who competed in the Laune Rangers qualifying round of Scór na bpáistí held last week.
