Mary and Phil combine for INEC performance
THE INEC Killarney will host X Factor finalist and singing sensation Mary Byrne alongside music maestro Phil Coulter next month.
Following their collaboration on her new album, Mary Byrne and Phil Coulter with his orchestra have joined forces for an unforgettable live show in the intimate surroundings of the INEC Killarney, Saturday, April 7.
While performing on the X Factor, Mary caught the attention of legendary Irish singer, songwriter, musician and producer Phil Coulter. And when Mary this year landed a new recording contract with Universal Music Ireland, Phil Coulter signed himself up to work on it with her.
Phil’s own songs have been recorded by everyone from Elvis to the Bay City Rollers and Cliff Richard. He has received countless international awards across his 40 year career to date. His latest album ‘Reflections’ was released last December.
Phil will be performing a solo selection of his many hits across the years as well as devising new arrangements and accompanying Mary Byrne with his orchestra. These will be Mary’s first proper Irish shows since performing as special guest for Neil Diamond in the Aviva Stadium last summer.
Mary Byrne’s new album “...With Love” was released on November 25.
