-

ENTRIES are filling up fast for the upcoming Tralee Triathlon Club Tri Kingdom Come Triathlon.

Up to 359 competitors are expected to take part in the event which takes place at Fenit on July 30.

Final preparations are now being put in place for this year’s event. All participants will receive a medal, T-shirt and goodie bag as well as the opportunity to race in a fast course to help participants get their personal best. There will be live entertainment, a BBQ and plenty of fun for both spectators and competitors.

The sprint triathlon is a 750m swim, a 20km cycle and a 5km run, all within the environs of Fenit and it is the perfect event to test your fitness this year.

It is also one of Kerry’s only triathlons this year so it is expected to draw competitors from across the county and further afield.

Tralee Triathlon Club have teamed with Fenit Development Association and Landers to host the event and their charity partner is Fenit RNLI Lifeboat station. “Don’t miss out on this fantastic triathlon which is going to have participants from all over the country and beyond. We even have someone signed up from Paris. Places are filling up fast so don’t hang around too long- sign up and take part in this fantastic sporting event,” said Race Direcrtor Joanne Allman.

Registration details for the event are on www.sportstiming.ie or www.traleetriclub.ie.
