TV’s Lisa Cannon to judge Ladies’ Day in Killarney
FASHION that is both inventive and comfortable while also showing off a ladies personality is what TV3 beauty Lisa Cannon will be looking for when she judges the much-anticipated Ladies Day competion at Killarney Races next week.
The Xposé favourite will be overseeing the fashion stakes at Killarney Race Track on Thuirsday next, July 14 - one of the most prestigious ladies’ day events on the fashion calendar in Ireland.
Speaking about her impending visit to the Kingdom - and her debut appearance at Killarney Races - the newly-appointed judge gave a few hints as to what she will be looking out for.
“In terms of style tips for ladies day I will be looking for fashion that is both inventive and comfortable. A lady’s personality and elegance needs to shine through,” she said.
“As it is one of the biggest race days on the social calendar, I am hoping to see lots of stunning colours and takes on fashion that work for shape and style.
“I am very much looking forward to spending time in Killarney. It is always an exciting day out and this being my first year I can’t wait to see all the style and indeed competition. It is going to be a fantastic day out.”
The Dawn Milk Queen of Fashion winner will receive a trip for two to Paris and a specially commissioned vase.
The winner of the Dawn Milk Most Stylish Hat, meanwhile, will receive a trip for two to Milan and a specially commissioned vase also.
Ladies are advised to arrive early as the judges will be selecting finalists on the race course from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
